Police Investigate Armed Robbery at Hamilton Service Station
Police are investigating an armed robbery at a service station in Hamilton in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
According to 2NURFM News, the incident allegedly occurred around 2am on Tuesday 12 May 2026 at a service station on Tudor Street.
Police allege two men entered the store, with one reportedly armed with a screwdriver. The armed offender allegedly threatened the attendant before the pair stole cash and cigarettes from the business.
The two men then fled the scene before police arrived.
The worker was not physically injured during the incident.
A crime scene has been established as investigations continue.
