Police have confirmed a pursuit involving a stolen vehicle on Wine Country Drive was terminated after officers lost sight of the vehicle.

According to NSW Police, officers spotted the allegedly stolen vehicle about 5am yesterday and attempted to stop it. However, the driver failed to comply, prompting police to initiate a pursuit.

A short time later, the pursuit was terminated after police lost sight of the vehicle.

Investigations into the incident are continuing.
