In a devastating incident on Sunday, December 3, 2023, an 87-year-old man lost his life following a collision between a Nissan and a Mitsubishi at the intersection of the Pacific Highway and Cutler Drive, Wyong.
Despite prompt medical attention by NSW Ambulance paramedics, the elderly Nissan driver succumbed to his injuries after being transported to Gosford District Hospital. Fortunately, the 34-year-old driver of the Mitsubishi emerged unharmed.
Tuggerah Lakes Police District officers are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash, with a detailed report slated for submission to the Coroner.
