Shocking: Keans Renewable energy policy exports jobs to China, writes Quintin King for Cessnock – Pauline Hanson’s One Nation

With the delay of Kurri Kurri gas plant and the early closure of Lidell power station we are in serious trouble.

NSW has embarked on the madness of exporting jobs to China under the delusion of saving the planet.

One Nation has led the opposition to this economic suicide note. When Kean’s 100% renewables Electricity Bill was before parliament in 2020, the Liberals, Nationals, Labor and the Greens voted 85 times for it. One Nation voted 85 times against it in an all-night sitting.

We have fought tooth-and-nail against the strangulation of the NSW resources sector. This is our natural economic competitive advantage and the woke Liberal-Nationals-Labor-Green coalition is destroying it.
Shamefully, NSW is only 5% gas self-sufficient. The Santos gas project at Narrabri has faced a 5-year delay in receiving its approvals, when this resource is now desperately needed.

The Baird Government closed our coal-seam gas industry with no valid environmental justification.
Regions like the Hunter Valley are heavily reliant on coal and other resource sector jobs.

Only One Nation stands in the way of its economic and social decline. We are fighting for jobs and economic and energy security, rather than pandering to the worst elements of the political elites: lobbyists, rent seekers and green zealots.

NSW One Nation will:

Abandon the Government’s Net Zero objectives and policy instruments.

Build another gas peaking plant to avoid blackouts in 2025-26. This is urgently needed to fill the electricity supply gap created by Kean’s blackouts.

Abolish Kean’s $10 billion worth of green energy programs, representing a huge saving to the budget and the creation of a level playing field in energy policy.
