Terrigal’s iconic Sirens Nightclub has been destroyed in a massive inferno that lit up Kurrawyba Avenue in the early hours of the morning.
Over 40 firefighters and 10 fire trucks raced to the scene just after 4:30 AM as flames engulfed the two-storey building. The intense blaze threatened to spread to nearby properties, prompting an all-out assault by Fire and Rescue NSW crews.
Heroic firefighters battled the inferno for an hour before finally bringing it under control. They then spent several hours mopping up, dousing hot spots, and ventilating the smoldering remains of the once-popular venue.
Remarkably, there were no evacuations or injuries reported during the incident.
The charred ruins of the nightclub are now the focus of an investigation as authorities work to uncover the cause of the devastating blaze.
