A woman will face court after allegedly being caught driving more than six times over the legal limit in the state’s Hunter region yesterday. About 8.30pm (Saturday 24 July 2021) police were patrolling Nelson Bay Road at Williamtown after receiving information from the public about the manner of driving of a black Audi. Police stopped the vehicle after they allegedly witnessed the car swerve and hit the gutter. Officers from Port Stephens-Hunter Police District spoke to the driver, a 31-year-old woman.
