Urgent Response to Near-Drowning Incident in Cockle Creek
A young boy was urgently transported to the hospital following a near-drowning incident in Cockle Creek. Emergency response teams, including NSW Ambulance, the Westpac Rescue Helicopter, and NSW Police, swiftly reacted to triple zero calls at Teralba’s York Street around 10:20 am.
The toddler had already been rescued from the water when the emergency services arrived. Paramedics provided immediate care, and the child is now in critical but stable condition at John Hunter Hospital.
