At approximately 6:00 PM on Saturday, December 28, a serious motorcycle accident prompted the deployment of the Westpac Rescue Helicopter. The incident occurred at Number One, a rural area northwest of Taree.
NSW Ambulance paramedics were first on the scene, providing initial treatment to a teenage boy who sustained leg injuries in the crash. The helicopter’s critical care medical team later joined efforts to stabilize the boy.
Once assessed and treated on-site, the teenager was airlifted in a stable condition to John Hunter Hospital for further medical care. The full extent of his injuries remains unknown at this time.
