A teenage girl has been airlifted to hospital in a serious condition following a farming accident in the Hunter Valley on Friday morning.

About 9:30am on 15 May, the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service was tasked by NSW Ambulance to a property near Gosforth after reports of a vehicle-related incident.

Emergency crews treated the teenage female, who suffered multiple injuries after reportedly falling from a vehicle.

NSW Ambulance paramedics and the helicopter’s critical care medical team stabilised the patient at the scene before she was airlifted to John Hunter Hospital in a serious condition.

The circumstances surrounding the incident have not yet been confirmed.
