Three Dead After Boat Tragedy at Ballina Bar as Major Search Operation Continues

Three people have died and four others have survived after a tragic boating incident off Ballina on Monday evening, sparking a large-scale emergency response in dangerous sea conditions. Emergency services were called about 6:15pm on 4 May 2026 after reports a yacht was in trouble near the South Ballina break wall.
