Two men have been charged following an alleged break-in and firearms investigation on the Central Coast.

Police say a 32-year-old man allegedly breached his bail conditions by attending a Woy Woy address about 3pm on Friday, 26 June, before travelling to Gosford.

Later that night, the man allegedly broke into a residential unit in Gosford, where he is accused of leaving behind custody and bail paperwork before stealing several items, including a gel blaster resembling a long-arm rifle.

About 7am on Sunday, 28 June, officers arrested the man at a Woy Woy address, where police allege he was again in breach of his bail conditions.

He was taken to Gosford Police Station and charged with two counts of break and enter, possessing a prohibited drug, possessing an unregistered firearm (not a pistol/prohibited firearm), and breaching bail. He was refused bail and appeared before the Bail Division Court.

Following further investigations, police also charged the 29-year-old owner of the Gosford unit after allegedly locating and seizing two gel blasters resembling pistols.

He has been issued with a Future Court Attendance Notice and is due to appear before Gosford Local Court at a later date.
