Uncle Snoop’s Shop Engulfed in Early Morning Blaze
Cessnock, NSW – A fire broke out at Uncle Snoop’s shop in Vincent Street early this morning, causing significant damage to the business.
Firefighters from multiple stations, including Cessnock, Abermain, Bellbird, Kearsley, Minmi, East Maitland, Holmesville, and Cessnock Rural Fire Service Brigade, were called to the scene shortly after 12:34 AM.
Crews worked diligently to extinguish the blaze and prevent it from spreading to the neighboring Cessnock City Library. While the library was fortunately only affected by smoke, Uncle Snoop’s shop sustained extensive damage.
NSW Ambulance was also present to provide medical assistance if needed, and NSW Police Force assisted with traffic control and securing the scene.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
