Update: Mother and Four Children Self-Evacuate House Fire in Cameron Park

In our previous report last night, we informed you about a house fire on Mckendry Drive in Cameron Park. However, we have received new information since then, revealing that our initial report was incorrect. Contrary to what was initially believed, a mother and her four children were indeed present in the house when the fire broke out.

According to the latest details, the fire originated from a clothes dryer. Recognizing the danger, the mother and her children took immediate action, self-evacuating from the house. Thankfully, their quick response ensured their safety.

Neighbors in the area also played a crucial role in assisting the family during this distressing incident. They helped secure the family’s dogs, ensuring their well-being during the fire.

Regrettably, the young family has lost all of their possessions in the blaze. In light of this traumatic event, a GoFundMe page has been established to aid the family in their recovery process. The page aims to gather support from the community to assist the family in rebuilding their lives after this devastating incident.

We will continue to follow this story and provide updates as more information becomes available.
