NSW Police have issued an urgent public safety alert as the search intensifies for a Newcastle woman who has gone missing under concerning circumstances — prompting renewed calls for community vigilance and immediate reporting to emergency services.
Tenneka Corrigan, 31, was last seen on Hunter Street, Newcastle, about 11am on Monday, 17 November 2025. After she failed to make contact with family, a formal police investigation was launched by Newcastle City Police District.
Authorities hold serious concerns for her wellbeing due to a pre-existing medical condition, with police urging residents, businesses and commuters to assist by providing any information that may support the ongoing inquiry.
Tenneka is described as Caucasian, 150–160cm tall, with brown hair, and is known to frequent the Port Stephens, Newcastle and Hunter regions.
Police are appealing for the public to help ensure her safe return and remind the community that timely information can be critical in missing-person cases, where health risks, legal responsibilities, and public safety obligations intersect.
Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers immediately. Anonymous reports are accepted, and police emphasise that early action can help prevent potential medical emergencies or broader safety risks.
