According to eyewitnesses, the unidentified culprits found their heist interrupted by a vigilant staff member who caught them attempting to pilfer alcohol from behind the counter. In a violent escalation, the suspects allegedly assaulted the employee with multiple punches before hastily escaping the premises.
The getaway vehicle, a 2011 silver Mazda 2, was identified as belonging to the assaulted staff member. The 38-year-old male victim received on-site medical attention for facial swelling and bruising.
