Police are urging the public to help track down a number of wanted individuals as part of an ongoing operation across the Brisbane Water region.
Officers attached to the Brisbane Water Police District are actively making enquiries to locate people with outstanding court-issued warrants — and say community information could be the key to bringing them in.
Residents are being asked to stay alert:
Have you seen them around your neighbourhood?
Do you recognise them from work or local shops?
Police have made it clear they will continue efforts until those wanted are brought before the courts.
Those subject to warrants are being strongly encouraged to present themselves at any police station, where officers say matters can be processed quickly, often within an hour, before a court appearance is arranged.
Anyone with information is urged to contact:
- PoliceLink on 131 444
- Gosford Police Station on (02) 4323 5599
- Woy Woy Police Station on (02) 4379 7399
- Terrigal Police Station on (02) 4379 4900
- Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or online
In an emergency, call Triple Zero (000).
All information provided will be treated confidentially. Members of the public are reminded not to approach any of the individuals and not to report information via social media pages.
