A bold daylight robbery shocked Weston locals after a group of masked and unregistered dirt bike riders targeted a bottle shop on a busy afternoon.
Video shows the moment a balaclava-clad thief sprinted into the shop, grabbing alcohol near the front entrance before attempting to flee. Quick-thinking staff and a local resident tried to intervene, but chaos erupted when the remaining riders attempted to run the man down.
A brief scuffle followed before the group made their escape, fleeing with some of the stolen goods. Police are investigating the incident, and anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
