Today Dr Chant dashed the hopes of everyone in NSW by stating that NSW will “NEVER” go back to pre Covid days, and we will always forever live with some form of restrictions in our daily lives.
I don’t know about you but I find that prospect very disturbing to think for the rest of my life I will be dictated to by an unelected health dictator like Dr Chant.
Her comments today suggest the NSW Government is going to keep the state under a constant health emergency until they’re either voted out, or the people revolt to remove the current government.
Which raises another question could the government use emergency powers to delay a state election? And if that’s even possible, how long could they hold on to power for using emergency public health orders?
Local Government Elections have been delayed twice due to Covid, who to say they won’t delay the state elections?
