SOMTHING IS WRONG WHEN VIOLENT OFFENDERS ARE GIVEN CONDITIONAL BAIL

Whilst this story is from the Central Coast it really highlights exactly what’s wrong with policing and this s is not uncommon story throughout NSW.

Two men aged 40 and 34 from Umina Beach, who were known to each other and were involved in an argument over the weekend, which turned into an ugly violent fight leaving the 34 year old male in a critical condition.

The 34-year-old old man was badly injured he was flown to the Royal North Shore hospital for treatment where he remains stable but in a serious condition.

The 40-year-old man was arrested and charged with only common assault and granted conditional bail till the 25th of May, when he will face a judge.

How is this violent offender still walking around us, who could potentially offend again?

Why would anyone want to be a cop if we keep letting violent criminals go free, it just makes no sense why police keep giving conditional bail. Where there is no doubt that the violent offender is guilty they should go directly to jail with no offer of bail and anything less is just failing the community.
