Shocking allegations have emerged in court after prosecutors claimed a Central Coast mother charged with the murder of her four-year-old son told police she had eaten parts of his body.
During court proceedings on Monday, prosecutors alleged the woman made statements referencing cannibalism after attending Wyong Police Station. The court also heard investigators believe part of the child’s arm had been cooked, with forensic testing now underway.
The allegations have not been tested in court.
The woman, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, has been charged with the domestic violence-related murder of her four-year-old son after his body was found at a home on the NSW Central Coast on Saturday.
