A man armed with a knife has been arrested after police deployed Tasers during a confrontation at an East Gosford unit block.
About 6.30am on Wednesday, 15 July 2026, officers from Brisbane Water Police District were called to reports of an argument at a unit complex.
Police allege a 41-year-old man was shouting outside a unit before producing a knife from his waistband and moving towards officers.
Police used OC spray and Tasers to disarm the man, who was arrested following a short struggle.
He was taken to Gosford Police Station and charged with multiple offences, including allegedly being armed with intent to commit an indictable offence, resisting police, intimidating police, and assaulting police without actual bodily harm.
The man was refused bail and is due to appear before Gosford Local Court on 30 July 2026.
