Three people have been charged following a police investigation into alleged drug supply in the Hunter Valley.

Police began investigating alleged drug supply activities in the Muswellbrook and Scone areas earlier this month.

On Thursday morning, officers attached to the Rural Crime Prevention Team, Northern Operational Support Group, Hunter Valley Criminal Investigation Unit and Hunter Valley Proactive Crime Team executed search warrants at properties in Muswellbrook and Scone.

During the searches, police allegedly seized approximately 1.1kg of methamphetamine, 669.6g of cannabis, 400 dexamphetamine tablets, other prescribed restricted substances, ammunition, a slingshot, more than $5,200 in cash, electronic devices, two electric scooters, three e-bikes and two mountain bikes.

A 63-year-old man was arrested at a Scone property, while a 51-year-old woman and a 23-year-old man were arrested at a home in Muswellbrook. All three were taken to Muswellbrook Police Station.

The 63-year-old man has been charged with 21 offences, including multiple counts of possessing prohibited drugs and prohibited weapons, supplying prohibited drugs, possessing ammunition without a licence, dealing with the proceeds of crime, possessing restricted substances, possessing explosives for an unlawful purpose, and possessing suspected stolen goods.

The 23-year-old man has been charged with two counts of possessing a prohibited drug and breaching bail.

The 51-year-old woman has been charged with 12 offences, including commercial drug supply, supplying prohibited drugs, dealing with the proceeds of crime, operating a drug premises, selling restricted substances without authority and multiple counts relating to suspected stolen goods.

All three were refused bail and were scheduled to appear before Bail Division Court 2 today (Friday, 10 July 2026).
