Woman Who Killed Pedestrian Just Got Arrested Again—But There’s More!
News Update:
Katie Lee Holmes, the woman previously involved in a fatal accident that claimed the life of pedestrian Anne Bourke on Main Road, Heddon-Greta, has now been charged with driving while disqualified. Despite the severity of the charges, Holmes has been granted bail.
According to court records, Holmes has not yet entered a plea. She is scheduled to appear for a mention in Scone Local Court on September 11, 2024. The hearing is expected to last five minutes and will be conducted via audio-visual link.
As part of her bail conditions, Holmes must report to Scone Police Station three times a week, reside at a specified address in NSW, and abstain from alcohol and non-prescribed drugs. Additionally, she is prohibited from occupying the driver’s seat of any motor vehicle.
Bail was granted under strict conditions, including a $1,000 security agreement and an additional $5,000 to be forfeited by an acceptable person should Holmes fail to appear in court.
