Donald Trump’s company was found guilty of tax fraud on Tuesday in a case brought by the Manhattan attorney general, a significant repudiation of financial practices in the former president’s affairs.

Trump Organisation has been accused of complicity in an executive scheme to avoid paying personal income tax for benefits such as rent-free apartments and luxury cars.

Penalties for these convictions are still to come, but are not expected to be severe enough to crippled the company.
