A man has been charged following investigations into a public place shooting at Wallsend earlier this week.Just before 2am on Tuesday 2 February 2021, officers from Newcastle City Police District were called to home on Platt Street, Wallsend, after a shot was fired through the front window.Police attended and established a crime scene, which was examined by specialist forensic officers.Three adults and three children were home at the time; however, no injuries have been reported.
