In 2028 Aahliyah was diagnosed with an extremely rare and aggressive brain tumor (Embryonal tumor with multilayered rosettes)  Emergency surgery was done in an attempt to remove the tumour that was growing rapidly and placing pressure on the left frontal lobe of her brain.
