Cessnock Hospitality Group announced plans for a major redevelopment of Cessnock Leagues Club. Designed by ALTIS Architecture, the project will transform the venue into a modern destination for entertainment, dining, and socializing. Key features include:
- Doubling seating capacity from 700 to nearly 1,400 seats.
- Adding over 1,700 square meters of outdoor space with gardens, alfresco dining, a courtyard, and an outdoor stage.
- Introducing a new 150-seat restaurant and expanding the existing bistro and café to accommodate up to 240 diners, featuring wood-fired pizzas and a gelato bar.
- Expanding the main lounge and sports bar.
- Creating a new children’s playground.
- Adding 58 additional parking spaces.
Pending approval, construction is expected to begin in early 2025 and complete by early 2026. Stay tuned for updates.
