At around 3:30 PM on Friday, August 9, 2024, Wallsend Fire and Rescue responded to a motor vehicle crash at the intersection of Close St and Murnin St, Wallsend.
Two vehicles sustained significant damage after one failed to give way, causing a black Nissan station wagon to crash into a nearby residential front yard. Despite the severity, all occupants were uninjured.
Newcastle City Police and NSW Ambulance also attended the scene.
