A 32-year-old man has been arrested and charged following an alleged violent domestic incident in Rutherford earlier this month. Police were called to a home on March 5 after reports that a man had forced entry into the residence before allegedly assaulting and threatening a woman known to him. A member of the public who attempted to intervene was also allegedly assaulted before the suspect fled the scene before police arrived.
