
New bridge for Kline Street, Weston
Cessnock City Council has successfully secured $650,000 under the Federal Government’s Bridges Renewal Program for a new concrete bridge for Kline Street, Weston. Cessnock City Mayor, Councillor Bob Pynsent welcomed the funding commitment that will allow the critical upgrade to go ahead. “The existing bridge was flooded in 2007 and again in the April 2015 superstorm. As a result it’s in poor condition and was identified as a structure requiring upgrading.
