Friday, 17 April 2026 A motorcyclist has died following a tragic crash on a bush trail near Lake Macquarie this afternoon. Emergency services were called to a remote trail off George Booth Drive, near Seahampton Road in Seahampton, at about 2:30pm on Friday (17 April 2026), after reports of a serious motorcycle incident. Police from the Lake Macquarie Police District arrived at the scene and found that the rider had fallen down a steep embankment while travelling along the bush track.
