News Update: Urgent Snake Bite Rescue in Singleton Heights
At approximately 12:30 PM on Monday, August 26, a Westpac Rescue Helicopter was urgently dispatched by NSW Ambulance to Singleton Heights following a critical incident involving a brown snake bite. The victim, a male, was bitten on the lower leg by the venomous snake. NSW Ambulance paramedics provided initial treatment at the scene before transporting the patient to Singleton Hospital. Upon arrival at Singleton Hospital, the helicopter’s critical care medical team took over, administering advanced care to stabilize the patient.
