Newcastle, NSW – Bernie’s Bar will transform into a hub of creativity and inspiration on Saturday, 9th March, as clients from Rely-Ability’s creative writing program take center stage for a spoken word and poetry performance. The event, running from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM, promises an afternoon of heartfelt storytelling and poetic expression.
The performers, all participants in Rely-Ability’s creative writing program, will showcase their work developed under the guidance of creative writing mentor Tom Pahlow. A graduate in Creative Industries from the University of Newcastle, Tom brings professional expertise and a passion for supporting emerging talent.
Rely-Ability is a National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) service dedicated to empowering individuals living with mental illness through creative mentorship. The organization pairs clients with industry experts who provide personalized guidance in completing artistic projects. Services span a range of disciplines, including music production, creative writing, animation, digital media, painting, and more.
