Fatal Two-Vehicle Crash in Muswellbrook

Tragedy struck in Muswellbrook this evening, with a woman losing her life in a two-vehicle collision on Denman Road.
Emergency services were called to the scene around 5:30 PM following reports of a serious crash. Officers from the Hunter Valley Police District arrived to find two sedans had collided.

Sadly, the female driver of one vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene despite efforts to revive her.
Four others—two males and two females, all in their 20s—are being treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics for injuries sustained in the crash.
A crime scene has been established, and police have commenced an investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Denman Road remains closed in both directions. Motorists are advised to avoid the area and monitor Live Traffic updates for alternative routes.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
