August 30, 2024 – Bororen, QLD: A tragic two-vehicle crash on the Bruce Highway near Daisy Dell Road early this morning has claimed the life of one man and resulted in extensive damage to the roadway. At approximately 5:10 am, a utility vehicle collided with a truck transporting ammonium nitrate. The driver of the utility was pronounced dead at the scene. The truck driver, a 47-year-old man from New South Wales, suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to the hospital for treatment.
