A police officer is lucky to be alive after being stabbed during a dramatic arrest at Doonside early this morning. The officer, who was attacked in the chest, is now recovering in hospital. The chaos began around 12:30 AM when emergency services were called to Hill End Road following reports of a violent brawl between five men.
