An investigation is underway after the tragic discovery of two young boys’ bodies in a home in Faulconbridge.
Shortly before 12:40 pm on Tuesday, 10 September 2024, officers from Blue Mountains Police Area Command responded to a call concerning the welfare of a woman and two children at a residence on Chapman Parade. Upon arrival, a family member had already discovered the bodies of two boys, aged nine and eleven, inside the home.
A 42-year-old woman has been transported to Westmead Hospital under police guard and is reported to be in stable condition. Authorities have confirmed that there is no ongoing threat to the community, and they are not seeking any other individuals in connection with the incident.
The investigation is being led by Blue Mountains Police, with assistance from detectives in the State Crime Command’s Homicide Squad.
