4 major retailers will close it’s doors at Green Hills as brick and mortar retailers struggle to make profits and complete with online shopping.

Music chain Sanity is the first to close it store down at Green Hills and also many other locations around the country have been closed down, as it struggles to remain relevant in the digital age.

Harris Scarfe has announced it will close it’s Green Hills shop as the company is now in receivership.

National Geographic (Curious Planet) has announced it will also close it’s Green Hills Shop.

Jeans West has a shop at Green Hills but the company has gone into voluntary administration and is likely to close down.

Is this the beginning of the end for traditional brick and mortar traders or can retailers reinvent themselves and become profitable once again?
