672 have been confirmed destroyed since the start of the year which brings the total number of homes destroyed to 1,588. Impact Assessment teams are still working through bushfire affected areas and these figures are likely to rise.

These figures are just devastating as NSW continues burn even through the rain we still have 130 fires burning in the state, conditions have eased for now but the weather is set to warm up again by the end of the week.

Firefighters have done an outstanding job in saving lives and properties over the past month some 20,000 thousand buildings have been saved. Without these brave men and women of our emergency services, this tragedy could have been far worse than it has been.
