A woman is fighting for life after a lawn mower accident – Wollombi
Emergency services were called to a property near Wollombi overnight after a serious lawn mower accident.
The rescue was made more complicated by flood waters which had left the property isolated for days.
Emergency services required the assistance of the Cessnock District Rescue Squad, the SES and a rescue boat to gain access to the property.
Once emergency services were able to gain access, the woman was stabilized and flown to John Hunter Hospital by the Westpac Rescue Helicopter.
The woman remains in a critical condition.
