Armed robbery at Hamilton pub under investigation Police are appealing for public assistance after an armed robbery at a popular Hamilton venue early this morning. About 3.40am (Friday 12 September 2025), an unknown offender entered the Sydney Junction Hotel on Beaumont Street armed with what appeared to be a pistol. The person allegedly threatened staff members before demanding cash. The offender fled the premises a short time later with an undisclosed amount of money.
