Body located in search for man missing from Old Bar

Monday, 29 December 2025 10:09:23 PM A body has been located during a search for a man missing from the state’s north earlier this month. The 37-year-old was last seen on Red Gum Road, Old Bar, about 18km east of Taree, about 10am on Tuesday 9 December 2025. Officers attached to Manning-Great Lakes Police District were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts. About 2pm today (Monday 29 December 2025), police located a body of a man at a bushland near Old Bar Road, Old Bar.
