Breaking News: Fatal Single-Vehicle Crash in Hunter Region
Tragedy has struck the Hunter region today as a man lost his life in a single-vehicle crash. According to reports, emergency services received a call at around 9.30am on Wednesday 19 April 2023, alerting them to a car that had crashed into a power pole on John Renshaw Drive in Buchanan.
The driver, who is believed to be 59 years old, was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities have yet to formally identify the victim. Police from Hunter Valley Police District have established a crime scene and launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
