In a devastating incident, a man has lost his life after an ATV accident in the Lake Macquarie area. Yesterday, at approximately 7pm (Sunday, March 31, 2024), emergency services rushed to a fire trail on Crown Land in Cooranbong following reports of a two-seater ATV crash.
The passenger, identified as a 35-year-old male, received immediate medical attention from NSW Ambulance paramedics, but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries at the scene. Meanwhile, the driver, a 30-year-old man, was rushed to John Hunter Hospital in critical condition.
