Police are appealing for public assistance after a man allegedly stole a $10,000 diamond ring from a jeweller on Keene Street, Cessnock.
Officers were called to the store shortly after 2:15pm on Thursday, 8 May 2025, following reports the man fled on foot after inspecting the ring.
CCTV images have now been released of a man who may be able to assist with inquiries.
He is described as Caucasian, approximately 185 to 190 centimetres tall, with a slim build and clean-shaven appearance. At the time, he was wearing a hi-vis work shirt, tan pants and boots, and a black cap.
