In yet another display of the left’s relentless assault on free speech, a billboard near Newcastle, daring to question the environmental impact of renewable energy, has been unceremoniously taken down. The advertisement, funded by the conservative group Advance, boldly proclaimed, “Renewables cost the earth,” highlighting the often-ignored financial and ecological costs of so-called “green” energy.

The advertising company, oOH!Media, caved under pressure from environmental activists and industry insiders, removing the billboard in a move that reeks of censorship. Mike Spirkovski, formerly of Saatchi and Saatchi Australia, led the charge against the ad, expressing his shock and dismay—not at the environmental consequences of renewable projects—but at the audacity of anyone challenging the prevailing green agenda.
