Community Spread of COVID-19 has occurred in the Hunter after a woman in her 60’s who has not travelled or been in contact with a known case has been diagnosed.
NSW Health is following up close contacts of a confirmed case, a woman in her 60s in Hunter New England who has not travelled internationally.
The woman is a patient of Newcastle Mater’s radiation oncology service and the source of infection is still being investigated.
