Crime Alert: Second Break-in at The Italian Cottage Restaurant Results in Closure Tonight

The Italian Cottage Restaurant Forced to Close Tonight After Second Break-In in Two Months!

The Italian Cottage Restaurant is reeling from another brutal break-in that caused significant damage and loss to the establishment’s property and belongings. This is the SECOND time the restaurant has been targeted in just two to three months, and it’s left staff and patrons alike feeling shaken.

A spokesperson for The Italian Cottage Restaurant released a statement on Facebook, saying, “All bookings have already been notified about the closure. We apologize for the inconvenience caused, but it has been a rough week for the restaurant and staff, ending with this unfortunate incident. Stay tuned for updates on the situation at The Italian Cottage.”

But this isn’t the only crime wave hitting the area. Just days ago, there was an attempted break-in at a nearby business, WoofSpark on Vincent, and another break-in at Sisters in Bloom, where thieves made off with an EFTPOS machine.

Police have not arrested anyone in connection with the recent spate of break-in targeting small business.
