Explosive Update: Shocking Arrests Made Near Cessnock in Shooting Case!

SHOCK ARREST: Women Nabbed in Hunter Valley Police Investigation into Mid-North Coast Shooting!

In a stunning development, two women have been taken into custody by Hunter Valley Police in connection to a shooting incident earlier this year. The Mid-North Coast was rocked when emergency services rushed to a residence in Seven Oaks, north of Kempsey, on January 26. A man was discovered with a gunshot wound to his arm, and was rushed to hospital where he has since recovered.

A special task force was immediately established to look into the matter, and so far, two men have been charged in connection to the shooting.

On Tuesday, Hunter Valley detectives, acting on information provided by the task force, conducted a search warrant at a home in Adelaide Street, Paxton. There, they apprehended two women, aged 30 and 33, and took them to Cessnock Police Station.

The 30-year-old woman has been charged with a variety of offenses, including discharging a firearm with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and attempting to pervert the course of justice. She appeared before the Cessnock Local Court on Wednesday, where she was formally refused bail and ordered to appear before the Newcastle Local Court on May 31.

Meanwhile, the 33-year-old woman has been charged with attempting to conceal a serious indictable offense and trying to pervert the course of justice. She also appeared before the Cessnock Local Court on Wednesday, where she was denied bail and ordered to return to court on April 19.
