You may have noticed in our most recent update, that the number of COVID-19 cases continues to increase across the District. In an effort to prepare our services for COVID-19, from today HNE Health is postponing non-urgent elective surgeries to allow for staff training and provide more capacity to respond to the pandemic. Most importantly, it will also protect our staff who are on the frontline and are crucial to the care of COVID-19 patients as cases rise.
